BCC x Petrolettes Rällly 2021

Salzburg meets Zell am See meets  femme riders around the world.

For the second time, my spirit sisters organized the Petrolettes Rällly.
The goal of this event is to unite and connect women on their motorcycles. Very much in the spirit of Brap Culture Club.
At the time of registration Brap Culture Club was not yet founded but for me it was clear, I will gather women in Salzburg and activate the city to participate.

June 5, 2021 - 9:30 a.m.

9 women were ready to start. 2 Harley Davidson, 2 Suzuki, 2 Kawasaki and 2 Yamaha. Weather gorgeous.

Our tour had 3 checkpoints and was 240 km in total. Starting from Maria Plain, we went through the city in the direction of Salzkammergut. The Fuschlsee greeted us first. Then the Caribbean blue of the Wolfgangsee. Past the Attersee and through the Weißenbachtal. We reach the Traunsee and soon after our checkpoint 1 - Gmunden. But not everyone arrived.

Motorcycling and the dangerous side

We rewind 1 kilometer. Shortly before our checkpoint there was a full braking and a slight crash. A pedestrian suddenly crossed the road. To the surprise of Olivia S. She made a full stop and lost control of her Yamaha ... . She crashed onto the curb and rolled off alá Tom Cruise. It can happen that fast. In this sense: Ride safe!

Briefly told: Olivia did not hurt herself. After a check in the hospital, she was immediately discharged and felt motivated and fit enough to continue riding.

Orange is the new black

We continued on to Ried through winding forest roads past umpteen fields. A short breather at the gas station and on to Mattighofen. To the Motohall of KTM. Everything seems to glow orange there.

The group photo was more like a snapshot, because a mighty summer thunderstorm was coming up. We hastily put on our gear and set off. Hoping to leave the dark clouds behind us. A stunning sight in the rearview mirror.

We were fast but we still got wet. The thunderstorm caught up with us when we treated ourselves with Schnitzel, beer (alcohol free) and Kasspätzle.

The next day was not better so we canceled the Sunday tour and look forward to rideout together again. But then in Zell am See.
